Grafik i Väst has it´s origin in Gothenburg, Sweden. It’s an organisation that helps active graphical artists to reach out with their art.
The Exhibition contains a smorgasbord of the new members catalogue where their members presenting themselves in art. Grafik i Väst, as the exhibition is called, shows many of the different graphic techniques and methods. Modern art often is a mixture of different methods to get the requested result. The tradition with pure etchings and engravings is old school and now a days you’ll find photopolymer and Riston as the often used technique. You could almost believe that the computer has taken over completley from handmade drawings, but that is not the case here.
All this you could come and see at Ålgården where we show a large smorgasbord of the art of today.
